By train

Albi is connected to Toulouse by train (Toulouse–Albi–Carmaux line), approximately 1 hour. From Paris, allow 4h30 via Toulouse by TGV.

Albi-Ville station (main station, in the town centre): 15-minute walk from our apartments.

By car

Albi is on the A68 motorway (Toulouse–Albi axis):

75 km from Toulouse (1h)
220 km from Montpellier (2h30)
700 km from Paris (6h30)

Paid parking close to the apartments (Place du Vigan, Lapérouse covered car park).

By plane

The nearest airport is Toulouse–Blagnac (75 km), with direct flights from Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux and most European capitals.

Airport shuttle → Toulouse Matabiau (TGV station) → Albi by train.

Getting around Albi

The historic centre is completely pedestrianised and very easy to explore on foot. All the main sights are within 15 minutes’ walk of one another.
